Daniel Browning Smith, aka Rubberboy, was once roused by a concerned flight attendant while sleeping on an airplane. He was in the lotus position, with his legs tilted up and spun around 90 degrees so that he could use the front of his left knee as a pillow, with his arms locked through the spaces to keep his “human knot” together. On subsequent flights, he hung signs reading: “I’m okay. Please do not wake me up.”.
